The campaign is supporting the state as it defends its groundbreaking vehicle global warming law. The standards adopted in September 2004 meet the original legislation’s intent: to achieve the maximum feasible and cost-effective to the consumer reduction of greenhouse gases emitted by passenger vehicles. (AB 1493 – Pavley, 2002)
The California Clean Cars Campaign is neither a formal organization nor corporation. Each member organization has its own governing board and sets its own policies. Member groups do not pay to participate in the Campaign.
